Three local sides still in cup hunt at Feile peil
Two Kilkenny teams and one Carlow side are still in the hunt for cups at the Feile Peil this afternoon.
In Division five of the girls competition, Mount Leinster Rangers face Glyde Rangers of Louth in the semi final at 11.50.
In Division six, O’Loughlins face Senechalstown of Meath in their semi-final at 12.40.
In Division ten, Danesfort have just begun their semi final against Kilconly of Meath.
The finals are taking place across Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow this afternoon.
In Kilkenny club action last night, there were wins for O’Loughlins and Tullaroan in the North Junior A hurling championship.
Thomastown and Dunammaggin had wins in the south Junior A championship, while Rower Inistioge and Mooncoin shared a draw.
Finally in GAA news, the semi finals of the Leinster football championship take place this afternoon at Croke Park.
Meath face Westmeath at 2pm, before Kildare take on Dublin at 4pm.
