Three people arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of a Tipperary man in county Laois seven years ago have been released without charge.
William Delaney went missing from Portlaoise on the 30th of January, 2019 and Gardaí received information later that year which suggested he’d been killed and was buried somewhere in Laois.
Yesterday morning two women, one aged in her twenties, the other in her thirties, with a man also in his thirties, were arrested by those investigating the case but have since been released without charge.
Investigations are ongoing and Gardaí believe that there are people within the community who have information – they have reiterated their appeal for them to come forward to any Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line: 1800 666 111.
