A man in his thirties and two women aged in their 20s and 30s have been charged in connection with a large drugs seizure in Kilkenny City yesterday.
The three were arrested following the seizure of €181,000 worth of cannabis by custom officials following a joint operation including Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and Carlow/Kilkenny District Drug Unit.

Just over 9 kilos of herbal cannibas was discovered during the operation.
They will appear before a special sitting of Carlow District Court at 4:30pm this afternoon.
