The Christmas lights have been switched on in Tinryland.
Each year the Matthews and Walker families stage a spectacular display in aid of a good cause.
This year they’re in memory of 15-year-old Ryan Kearney from Leighlinbridge with proceeds going to Oscar’s Kids, helping families of children with the most serious cancer diagnosis and Cara Rescue Dogs.
Ryan’s parents Dave and Sineád with family and friends stopped by to do the honours last night.
Quite a crowd typically turns out to donate and view the scenes, which are open daily from 5pm to 10pm for the month of December, and the organising crew has issued some advice;
