Road Cleared After Traffic Chaos Following Collision in Kilkenny City

Motorists have been experiencing severe traffic on the R712 following a collision on the road earlier this morning.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash outside Azcar on the Dublin road, which occurred at approximately 10:40am.

Two fire engines have been reported on the scene.

A stop-go system was in place on the road, and any vehicles involved in the incident have since been removed.

There are reports of substantial delays with talibacks and motorists advised to avoid the area where possible.
