Transition Year Challenge in Kilkenny gets under way

Local students kicking off a tough challenge around the roads and rivers of Kilkenny today have already collected €2,500.

The Transition year pupils of Kilkenny College will be travelling by bike, car, kayak, tractors, possibly stakeboards and of course on foot- walking and running some of the stages.

Supervisor Richard Willis says they’re already half way to their fundraising target with sponsorship pledges.
