Carlows Tom Daly and Baltinglass man Peadar Timmins were try scorers for the Leinster A side last night in their Interpro clash against Connacht in Donnybrook.
Its wasn’t a good night for the home side though as they lost out 43 – 23.
Connacht Eagles produced an outstanding second half performance to land the 19-point defeat.
Leinster ‘A’ were hoping to maintain their 100% start to the new season, with victories last month against both Munster ‘A’ (22-17) and Ulster Ravens (37-7).
This was only the second game of the campaign for Connacht Eagles, as their proposed encounter with Munster ‘A’ was called off recently.
