A truck driver’s been arrested in county Kilkenny on suspicion of drink-driving.
Gardaí say an articulated heavy goods vehicle (HGV) was reported to ‘be all over the road’ on the M9 last evening (Sunday, 22nd March).
It was intercepted at Paulstown after it’s understood damage was caused to drive-through hoarding at the filling station there.
The person behind the wheel was arrested by members of Thomastown Roads Policing Unit after providing a breath sample 11 times the nine micrograms of alcohol per 100 mililitres of breath.
