“It’s an incredible boost to the shed, and we are so thankful,” SO says Frank Morris, chairman of Tullow Men’s Shed.
This comes as they are set to receive €110,000, which is part of the overall €800,000 being allocated to four local groups under the Community Recognition Fund.

Minister Calleary is currently announcing a nationwide initiative to mark the efforts of communities in upgrading and enhancing their respective areas.
Other groups to benefit include Carlow Volunteer Hub, Kilkenny Christian Centre, and St. Canice’s Community Action CLG.
Speaking to KCLR News, Mr. Morris shared his excitement about the big plans they have for this funding.
