Two children hospitalised after fall at Waterford apartment complex

Two young children have been hospitalised following an incident at an apartment complex in Waterford City.

It’s believed both children fell from the second-storey balcony of Block C at Mount Suir Manor complex in Gracedieu shortly before 11am.

Waterford City and County Council says it has reached out to the family to offer support, and a formal investigation into the incident has commenced.

KCLR News understands that the local authority have called an emergency meeting this afternoon relating to the incident.
