2 local businesses are in contention for honours at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Dublin tonight.
24 companies from around the country are finalists in the competition – which will be broadcast live on UTV Ireland.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition which takes place in Dublins Citywest tonight.
2 of the 24 are Kilkenny based – Paul Young, Nora Twomey and Tomm Moore of Cartoon Saloon are nominated as is Michael Hoyne of Merlyn Industries – both in the Industry Category.
There will be category winners and an overall winner declared tonight.
More than 1,500 business leaders and entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event.
