Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man’s body at a house in Tullow
The body of a man in his early 30s was found just after nine o’clock this morning in the kitchen of the rented house in the Graigeowen estate on the Carlow Road in Tullow.
Gardai found a second man in his early 50s with serious injuries who’s being treated at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny this evening.
Its understood the two men are Latvian nationals – but the nature of the injuries they suffered are unclear.
The man remains have now been removed from the house and the State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy – who has visited the scene – is to carry out a post mortem examination to determine how he died.
A Garda forensic team is also examining the house.
Two men have been arrested this afternoon and they’re being questioned at Carlow Garda Station.
