Two people have been arrested in connection with a drugs discovery in county Wicklow.
Revenue Customs Service personnel found more than 5kg of what’s believed to be herbal cannabis in two separate seizures, estimated to be worth €105,000.
The operation was a joint one with the Garda National drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Bray Drugs Unit and detective branches from Bray, Arklow and Wicklow.
A man aged in his twenties with a woman aged in her thirties were arrested and have been detained at stations in in the county under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 while the substances seized will undergo analysis.
A spokesperson says investigations are ongoing.
