I’d played I Believe In A Thing Called Love on the show last night, wondering where The Darkness are hanging out these days. As it turns out, they’re going to be hanging out in Waterford this July.
DayTripper, which last year hosted Paloma Faith and David Gray, is returning to Waterford again this 3-5 July and bring a host of new and older acts to the southeast.
While Friday’s bill has yet to be revealed, Saturday will see British pop reggae heads UB40 join Soul II Soul, Thank Funk, Skunk, Tucan and The Whereabouts while Sunday’s bill brings The Darkness, The Riptide Movement, Propeller Palms, Smash Hits, Mad Ferritt and Electric Movie Band.
Tickets, priced from €39.50 for individual day tickets are available to buy now.
