Urlingford changes to Co Tipperary as Eircode is rolled out

Parts of north Kilkenny have been left baffled by a change to their address following the introduction of the new post codes this week.

Homes in Urlingford, Johnstown and surrounding areas received their unique 7 digit Eircode this week but the county line in their addresses had been changed from Kilkenny to Tipperary.

One KCLR listener in Urlingford says he thinks the postcode system could work but he can’t understand why they have been moved from Kilkenny to Tipperary.
