Kilkenny Macra is holding an information evening in Urlingford with the intention of setting up a new club in the area.
It’s taking place this evening at 8pm in Hayes Pub.
Macra is a social organisation for rural people aged 17 to 35.
Jim Lynch is chairman of Callan Macra and he told KCLR news what members can expect from joining. ”It’s a wonderful opportunity for people to get involved in a national organisation. Kilkenny has three Macras and with over 200 members. It’s a brilliant way for people to connect. We have drama, farming walks, quizzes, baking and so much more. Macra has something for everyone.”
