A TV drama based on a Kilkenny man hailed as a genius and child prodigy airs on RTE 2 telly tonight.
Scorpion was inspired by Walter O Brien who grew up on a farm between Callan and Kilmanagh and at the age of 13 was hacking into NASA’s computer system among other things.

He has been hired by the US government and the media to help out checking out the weaknesses in their IT security and has his own company called Scorpion Computer Services which has offices in Ireland the UK and Los Angeles.
The show starts at 5 past 8.
