A Venezuelan man living locally says he now has hope that he can bring his children to his homeland one day.
Franklin Bermudez says the capturing of ousted President, Nicolas Maduro says there’s now a possibility of free and fair elections in Venezuela and he hopes there’s positive changes there.
Franklin is living in Carlow and has two daughters and told The KCLR Daily he’d love to show them where he grew up and visit his childhood home.
Meanwhile
Maduro has arrived in New York Federal court ahead of his arraignment on a number of charges. He was indicted on four counts: narco terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices.
