One of Kilkenny’s newest but most well-known choirs is to be honoured in the city this evening.
A Civic Reception has been organised to recognise the work of the newly rebranded Arís Celebration Choir – formerly the Presentation School Choir – and their director, Veronica McCarron.
Veronica and her all-female group of singers shot to fame last year when they made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
The choir have also performed with Daniel O’Donnell and feature in the newly released single by The Kilkennys, ‘Homeland.’
The reception is taking place in the Town Hall from 6.30pm this evening.
