Carlow’s soup kitchen is hoping to expand its services – but it needs your help to do this.
Volunteers at St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen in Graiguecullen are now planning to open five days a week from the end of September.
The service, which opened around two and a half years ago, started off operating just three days a week before expanding to four last year.
And now, Father John Dunphy says the demand is there for a full Monday to Friday service for people who’ve fallen on hard times, which means they’ll need more help to run it.
