Voting register grows ahead of by-election & referendums

2 thousand 328 people have been added to the register of voters ahead of the by-election and referendums on Friday.

More than 1,500 names were added to the supplementary register in Kilkenny and over 800 in Carlow before the deadline passed on May 5th.

On Friday we’ll be asked to vote in order of preference for 13 candidates as we select a 5th Dail Deputy for Carlow-Kilkenny to replace Phil Hogan in Leinster House.

Votes will also be cast on the referendums on marriage and the age of presidential candidates.
