Wait over for students as first round CAO offers are released

The wait is over for local Leaving Cert students as the first round offers from the CAO are released.

It’s being linked to the 25 bonus points on offer for passing Higher Level Maths – and renewed confidence in the construction sector.

50 thousand students will get offers today – the highest ever number – with half of the applicants expected to get their first choice.
