Warning of icy road conditions as temperatures dip to -6 degrees overnight

You’re being warned of very icy conditions in parts this morning after local temperatures dropped as low as minus 6 degrees overnight.

Its still minus 4 degrees this morning and the mercury is unlikely to get past 2 or 3 degrees today so some roads may not thaw properly at all.

Its set to stay cold in the coming days with more wintry showers forecast for the area.
