We could have an extra Bank Holiday before the year is out

We could get an extra day off before the end of the year because of the Pandemic.

Plans for an extra Bank Holiday are said to be at an advanced stage.

It’s understood efforts are underway to try and get it in November or December.

The day would recognise the efforts of frontline workers and to remember those who lost their lives to Covid.
