There have been many questions regarding a structure that’s appeared in a Kilkenny city car park.
It appeared at what’s traditionally been known as the Market Yard, that patch that links Kieran Street and the ‘Dunnes Stores’/County Council carpark.
Shaped somewhat like a rugby ball, some ask if it’s set to pay homage to the history of that sport in our county.
Look at it from another angle and others query if it’s the start of the back end of an emu or dinosaur monument.
Turns out it’s the beginning of the realisation of plans to upgrade the area by the local authority;
