The Wicklow based politician hopes to be selected at Fine Gael’s Convention this Sunday as its candidate to run for election as MEP for Ireland South on May 24th.
Speaking to KCLR News Deputy Doyle said that his experience as Minister of State in the Department of Food & Marine could stand to him in the face of Brexit & other issues.
There’s an extra seat up for grabs in the Ireland South constituency this time around following a reconfiguration of the boundaries.
