A womans body has been found in Piltown in South Kilkenny after it’s believed she died while out cutting timber.
The body of the woman, who is in her early 60s, was discovered at Raheen at about 5 o’clock yesterday evening.
It’s understood she had been cutting timber in a field and was struck by a falling branch.
Gardaí are treating it as a tragic incident.
