A woman has been injured in a fire at an apartment in Kilkenny City.
Emergency services, including two units of the local fire service, were called out to the incident on Friary street just after half past nine this morning.
They confirmed that the blaze was put out before midday.
One woman was rushed to St Lukes Hospital in an ambulance where she’s being treated for her injuries.
Gardai say the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
