The green light has been given for new homes to be built in Borris, Tullow, Rathvilly, Bagenalstown & Myshall with a multi-million euro investment by the Government in Social Housing
Director of Services at Carlow county council Seamus O’ Connor says they should be up and running within months.
Meanwhile funding has been sanctioned for 5 new projects in Kilkenny-one of them will see 30 new houses built at the Brewery site in the city on St Francis Street
Director of Services John McCormack says that’s still in the very early stages.
House-building projects will also happen at The Butts, Robertshill, Castlecomer and Callan.
