It looks like work is finally to begin on what’s been called an “eyesore” on the outskirts of Bagenalstown.
The site, which was formerlly known as ‘Fair Oak Foods’ and sits on 28 acres of land on the Royal Oak Road, has now been purchased.
It’s not yet been confirmed who the buyer is but they’re understood to be local.
Speaking to KCLR News, Bagenalstown Councillor Denis Foley says works to tidy the site of the old meat factory up have already begun.
