Yellow warning for Carlow & Kilkenny as Storm Erik approaches

Carlow and Kilkenny should miss the worst of Storm Erik but strong gusts could still cause damage.

That’s according to Alan O’Reilly of www.carlowweather.com as the entire country is under a weather warning until 6 o’clock tomorrow morning.

The west coast is likely to be the worst affected with an Orange alert for some of the counties there.

Alan has told KCLR news that some of the stronger gusts here in Carlow and Kilkenny could come tonight and into tomorrow morning.

But he says after the winds die down tomorrow it’s going to get cold again.
