A yellow weather warning remains in place this morning, as thundery downpours continue to affect many parts of the country.
The ESB says it’s working to fix a number of lightning related faults, after outages in Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford and Waterford.
Power has been restored in Tullow following an earlier outage.
There’s a risk of local flooding and hail in some parts, with Munster and Leinster seeing the heaviest of the rain.
Meanwhile care is needed on the the road at Bohernatounish roundabout in Kilkenny following an earlier fuel spill.
The road has been treated but is quite slippy due to the wet conditions.
