Erins Own Clubman David Buggy says this years Kilkenny Championship is very strong with a number of teams in the mix that could win the title.

The first round of Championship games are underway this weekend.

Beginning on Saturday with James Stephens versus Ballyhale Shamrocks, Mullinavat against Carrickshock and Dicksboro v Danesfort.

On Sunday, Erins Own clash with St Martin’s.
