You’re being urged to have your say on Ireland’s abortion laws.
The Citizens’ Assembly, which is made up of Chairperson Justice Mary Laffoy, and 99 ordinary citizens will meet again on the 26th of November to discuss the topic.
They had their first meeting on the 10th of October.
The people on the assembly were all randomly selected by a polling agency, however the selection has come in for criticisim locally because of the fact that it doesn’t include anybody from either Carlow or Kilkenny.
However, you can still have your say as the assembly is now looking for submissions from representative groups, citizen organisations and members of the public.
You can make your submission before Friday the 16th of December at www.citizensassembly.ie or by post to Citizens’ Assembly, 16 Parnell Square, Dublin 1.
