Local nurses and midwives are heading to Dublin this morning to take part in a protest outside the Dáil.
It’s being organised by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, as well as SIPTU and the Psychiatric Nurses Association.
They’re calling for incremental credit to be restored for those who graduated between 2011 and 2015.
These graduates earn up to €1,400 less than their colleagues who graduated before or after this time period.
Kilkenny man and INMO General Secretary, Liam Doran has told KCLR News that it was a completely “non-sensical approach by government” to exclude those graduates.
