60 percent of the housing list in Bagenalstown is to be eliminated by two new developments.
That’s according to Carlow/Kilkenny Fine Gael TD Pat Deering.
He confirmed that a new 26 unit housing estate is going to tender tomorrow.
It is hoped that the sod will be turned on the development in January.
This is in addition to another project which will see the county council develop 18 plus units in the town.
