The annual Charlie Curran memorial run takes place in Carlow this morning.
It’s in aid of The Irish Heart Foundation and Heart Children Ireland in memory of Charlie Curran Senior who died after suffering a heart attack.

The run starts at Carlow Town Hurling Club and you can complete a 5k or 10k route – the 10K run starts at 10.30am, the 5k starts at 10.45am.
Speaking to KCLR news, Charlie Curran Junior says there’s such demand for the event, that registration is now closed.
