Kilkenny Mayor highlights the need to support local businesses at an event in London

The Mayor of Kilkenny city has highlighted the need for people to support local, following the loss of 6 family businesses since he took over.

Patrick O’Neill was speaking at the first dinner dance of the London branch of the Kilkenny GAA supporters club last night.

Crowds of people attended the event to celebrate Kilkenny GAA and their achievements so far.

Speaking at the dinner dance in London, Mayor Patrick O’Neill says there’s also exciting developments coming on stream in Kilkenny with the Medieval Mile museum opening soon.
