That’s according to the Director of Services of St Catherine’s Centre in Carlow which was yesterday granted over three hundred thousand euro to go towards their gender equality services.

Niall Morris says they’ll be drawing this money down over the next three years and that it will go a long way in helping them to provide more support for local women.

He told KCLR news it will allow them to run a three year programme aimed at promoting social inclusion and combating discrimination in terms of access to the labour market.
