The Transport Minister says he is aware of the safety issues associated with a lethal junction in the South of Kilkenny.

Deputy Bobby Aylward asked Shane Ross in the Dail yesterday about the Tower Road – Piltown junction on the N24 where up to 15 lives have been lost in road accidents.

Responding, Minister Ross said money has been approved to the council for a signing and lining scheme to address issues identified there but Deputy Aylward said that’s not enough.
