Sitting Ferrybank Councillor to run for a seat in Kilkenny and Waterford

A sitting Kilkenny Councillor is now also bidding for a seat on Waterford County Council.

Melissa O’Neill’s an independent representative in the Piltown Municipal District and is looking to retain her seat there when voters go to the polls on May 24th.

But she’s confirmed to KCLR News that she’s now also running in Waterford City West which takes in her home area of Ferrybank.
