Gardaí investigating deaths of two cats in Kilkenny city

Gardaí in Kilkenny have confirmed they’re investigating the deaths of two cats in the city this week.

On Monday, ‘Eleanor’ (not her real name) told us about the first incident on Sunday evening in the Newpark Close area – listen back to that here (please be advised there are some harrowing details):

This morning, we discovered similar fate faced another feline in nearby Ballybought Street (again, some tough things to hear here):

KCLR News has seen video footage of the second incident.

It’s not yet known if the incidents are linked but Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to both.
