Flooding at Waterford Train Station sees services start in Kilkenny this morning

UPDATE 9:10am, Thursday 23rd March: Waterford Train Station has reopened

Waterford Train Station is closed until further notice because of flooding.

Irish Rail says the Waterford to Heuston Dublin service will begin at Kilkenny instead.

Passengers coming from Thomastown will be taken to Kilkenny by bus to meet the train.
