Kilkenny Boots store is part of team effort to raise funds for Irish Cancer Society

Boots Ireland will host its ‘Night Walk’ across the country this evening in aid of the Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses.

The annual event is to raise funds for important services which provides end of life care for cancer patients in their own home. Their local ‘Night Walk’ will take place this evening in Kilkenny and staff from both stores will participate.

Jackie Costigan who’s the manager of the Boots store in MacDonagh Junction told KCLR news their plans for this evening – ”We will start walking from MacDonagh Junction and continue around the ring road to cover 5 km.” Adding ”Customers have been amazing and are donating all week to this worthy cause. It really is a much needed fundraiser and all support and donations are very welcome.”
