A new era has started for the Carlow Kilkenny Homecare Team as the HSE assumes responsibility for funding of the clinical Nurse Team.
The change will allow for the guaranteed funding and continuation of the services which first began in 1989.

The announcement comes as Palliative Care Week gets underway today (Monday, 11th Sept) nationwide.
Chairperson of Carlow Kikenny Home Care Team Brian Kiely says that although its source of core funding has changed, its core mission will remain the same.
