A local creche owner says she doesn’t want to close her doors in protest later this month, but has no choice.
Members of the Federation of Early Childhood Providers are aiming to shut for three days while a protest is due to take place in Dublin from the 26th to 28th of September.
It’s as the sector’s been hit with issues including funding and staff retention which has had an impact on parents seeking childcare.
