IKEA Carlow has officially opened its doors

IKEA officially opened its fifth Irish Plan and Order Point in Carlow today.

Based at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, the first customers were in and waiting for the doors to open at 9am to get a look at the sample kitchens and wardrobes that are set up and to avail of a consultation.

You can opt to check things out for yourself or have a sit down to see a vision for your home come to light.

KCLR News’ Edwina Grace was there to find out how consultations were going for those seeking advice, she also got a tour of the unit and spoke to some of the crew from the Swedish furniture retailer
