Post-mortem to be carried out on body of man stabbed to death in Co Kildare

A post-mortem is due to be carried out today on the body of a man stabbed to death in County Kildare.

The man, aged in his thirties, died in the assault at house in Sallins in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.

A man in his twenties was arrested at the scene and remains in Garda custody.

Locals in the area are understandably upset about what’s happened.
