MSD is cutting three billion dollars from its global budget and slashing jobs, but says no Irish sites will close.

The pharma giant employs over 3,000 people across eight Irish locations, including Cork, Dublin, and Carlow.

The move comes as MSD braces for generic competition to Keytruda, its top-selling cancer drug made mainly in Ireland.
