The number of people visiting Ireland last month is up 5% at 604,000 compared to the same period last year, with an average stay of seven point one nights.
CSO figures reveal they spent more than 570 million Euro on their trips – excluding fares – down 16% when compared with September 2024, and a decrease of 5% with September 2023.
36% of visitors came from Great Britain while 25% accounted for visitors from the US.
43% of those travelling here came for a holiday.
